OliveLit’s experts were part of the team that conceived, planned, implemented, launched and managed the first digital IPTV service inPakistan.  Launched in 2008 over the telco’s fixed line Broadband network, it put Pakistan on the map of very few countries to have launched the state of the art service at the time. Within two years, the service was expanded to 15 cities, making it geographically the largest digital TV service in the country. Unique interactive service features such as the ability to ‘rewind’ and ‘pause’ favorite programs as well as choice to block any channel (parental control) or watch a family tailored ‘video on demand’ from a large library of  digital content, were experienced by TV viewers for the first time in Pakistan. Besides overseeing the ‘end to end’ supply chain for the service, managing the commercial and marketing aspect of the service, the experts were also responsible for creation of ‘end to end’ business processes and an organization built on top of such process, to run the service. The streamlined organization served as the first step for the telco for transition from a telephone company to a multimedia company.
