Largest Broadband

 OliveLit’s experts were part of the team that conceived, planned, implemented and managed fixed line Broadband service in the largest telecom service provider, PTCL, in Pakistan. This included the formulation and management of the ‘Multimedia and Broadband’ group that had the overall ownership for Broadband services. During the process, the growth achieved by PTCL put Pakistan on the world map as one of the fastest growing Broadband countries in the world. Prior to the launch of PTCL’s Broadband service in 2007, around 100,000 Broadband subscribers had been built up in the country (primarily in 3 largest cities) over 5 years. During the next 5 years, PTCL launched its service and took its subscribers alone to over 1 million, spreading the service to over 1000 cities, towns and villages, thereby making the company the largest Broadband service provider in the country. Besides overseeing the ‘end to end’ supply chain for the service, managing the commercial and marketing aspect of the service, the experts were also responsible for creation of ‘end to end’ business processes and an organization built on top of such process, to run the service.
